DESCRIPTION:Art in August begins on Thursday\, August 4\, 2022 with a gala opening reception at the Griffin Museum of Photography\, 67 Shore Road\, from 7:00–8:30 pm. Throughout the month there will be artist receptions on Thursday nights.  A list of artists and venues can be found here \nResidents enjoy spending time downtown to view the art exhibits\, artists get some welcome exposure\, and businesses support their community—and often get to meet some very interesting artists. \nArt in August is sponsored by the Winchester Cultural Council and the Winchester Artists Network (WAN). \nAll events are free of charge to the public. \nhttp://www.winchesterculturalcouncil.org
